Melton Regional Industries

Melton Regional Industries (MRI) began operating in Melton in March 2001.

MRI is a division of BRI Inc and provides supported employment opportunities for people with disabilities living in the Melton area and surrounding regions.

There are thirty five supported employment places with additional casual employees appointed from the long term unemployed sector of the labour market.

Our current employees will undertake a range of employment options such as labeling of bags and boxes, packing counted and weighed product, heat sealing,  assembling with a nut and bolt onto a bracket, stapling of boxes and header cards, mail outs.   

Businesses in the Melton / Bacchus Marsh Region have been approached to explore opportunities for contract work and good responses have been received.
