BRI Manufacturing

BRI’s earliest activities were in manufacturing and the making of pallets and packing cases, and routine engineering. The Manufacturing division is located at BRI’s Wendouree factory supplier customers in its own right as well as supporting other BRI Divisions producing specialist equipment.

BRI Manufacturing has ongoing supply arrangements with a number of Ballarat businesses meeting their constant needs for pallets and cases for the packaging and distribution of their manufactured goods. In addition the Manufacturing Division provides an ad hoc service to business and the public for the manufacture of one-off pieces such as specific purpose packing crates, storage boxes etc.

BRI is expanding its target market for pallets and packing crates by obtaining an AQIS licencing to produce ISPM 15 export grade pallets.
(ISPM is the ‘International Standards for Phytosanitary Measures Publication).

ISPM 15 was developed to address the global spread of timber pests by regulating the movement of timber packing and dunnage in international trade)

BRI Manufacturing also provide precision repetition engineering for a key group of customers finishing cast components for use in the equipment manufacturing sector.
